BUCKFIELD – Three people were injured and a fourth issued a summons after a pickup truck rolled over on North Buckfield Road on Tuesday night.

Cpl. Brian Landis of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office said the crash was still under investigation Wednesday. Two people riding in the back of the vehicle were ejected in the wreck.

“I’m glad to see everybody’s alive, given the circumstances,” said Landis.

Landis said 18-year-old Nathan Fortier of Buckfield was cited on charges of driving with false plates and illegal attachment. The 1991 two-door Isuzu pickup he was driving was totaled in the accident.

Landis said Matthew Mahar, 19, of Oxford; James Gilmet, 17, of Buckfield; and Dustin Damon, 12, of Buckfield, suffered minor to moderate injuries. None of the occupants of the vehicle are related.

The Buckfield Fire Department, Buckfield Rescue, and PACE Ambulance also responded to the accident.
