PORTLAND (AP) – Navy Secretary Donald Winter is coming back to Maine.

Sen. Susan Collins announced Thursday that Winter will visit Bath Iron Works shipbuilder on June 17.

Collins invited Winter to visit at the request of BIW President Dugan Shipway, who wants him to meet BIW’s shipbuilders and to see infrastructure improvements that have made the shipyard more productive.

Winter last visited BIW in January 2006.
