Paul Madore is running for Lewiston’s state Senate seat as a Democrat after years of being a Republican with a conservative agenda and two failed campaigns.

It is obvious to me, as well as many others, he has switched party affiliations simply for electability in Lewiston’s Democratic demographic.

In 2000 and 2004, voters in Lewiston rejected Madore’s bid for the Democratic nomination, and I encourage them to do so again.

People must not be fooled by a Republican in Democratic clothing.

Lewiston’s Democrats should vote for a real Democrat June 10.
