TURNER – The U.S. Achievement Academy has announced that Davis J. Rousseau of Leeds has been recognized by the academy as a student of excellence in English.
The academy recognizes fewer than 10 percent of all American high school students.
Davis, who attended Tripp Middle School, was nominated for the honor by Jodi Mathers, a teacher at the school. Davis will appear in the academy’s official yearbook, which is published nationally. The academy recognizes students on the recommendation of teachers, coaches, counselors and others.
Davis is the son of Jeffrey and Sheryl Rousseau of Leeds and the grandson of John Rousseau of Greene and Jeanne and Leo Dagneau of Lewiston.
