Army National Guard Sgt. Michael S. Wright has been mobilized and activated at Fort Dix, N.J., for a deployment overseas to a forward operating base in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The soldier is a member of the 38th Military Police Co., a National Guard unit based in Danville, Ind.

Wright, a military police member and internment/resettlement specialist, has served in the military for 13 years. He is the son of Carol A. and stepson of Ron Tribbet of Minot, N.D.

His wife, Amy, is the daughter of Dick and Robin Bragg of Wilton. The sergeant graduated in 1992 from Jay High School.
