MECHANIC FALLS – Legendary Maine country musician Slim Andrews of Auburn will appear in the “Maine Ole Opry” show Sunday, June 22, at the Silver Spur Club.

Inducted into the Maine Ole Opry in 2007, Andrews is the first recipient of the prestegious Trailblazer award, founder of the Maine Country Music Association and a member of the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Pine Tree State Country Music Association and the Maine Academy of Country Music.

His musical career began at age 11; and at 75, he is still going strong.

His most recent band is The Cumberland Valley Boys.

Throughout the years, Andrews has booked and worked with many Nashville acts all over New England. He has three CDs, with the latest released this month.
