AUBURN – The Auburn Community Band, under the direction of Milt Simon, will kick off its 27th annual summer concert series at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Festival Plaza in the downtown.
This will be the first of 11 outdoor evening performances scheduled at the Main Street location. The free concerts will continue weekly on Wednesday evenings through August 27, weather-permitting.
People planning to attend any of the band performances should bring lawn chairs and are advised to arrive at Festival Plaza well before 7 p.m. Free parking is available in the parking garage across the street from the plaza.
