DIXFIELD – Jim Gallant, known for his rich vocals and mastery of fingerstyle guitar, will perform Saturday, June 28, at the Dixfield CoffeeHouse.
In a review of his “River Watch” CD, Good Times music magazine’s Ron Hart said Gallant “ranks among some of the finest tunesmiths in the Northeast.”
Gallant’s latest CD, “Living the Dream,” on the Outer Green Label, is a collection of funny and heartfelt stories featuring some of the area’s finest musicians.
The Dixfield CoffeeHouse is in the annex of Dixfield Congregational Church on High Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7. As always, there will be a variety of desserts for sale as well as a selection of coffees and teas. Admission at the door is $5 for adults. Children under 12 admitted free if accompanied by a parent.
