BIDDEFORD (AP) – Police say a 38-year-old transient arrested in connection with a bank robbery last week in Biddeford also was wanted on four outstanding warrants.

Biddeford police, federal marshals and a representative of the Attorney General’s Office were involved in the arrest Tuesday of Michael Willings outside a motel in Saco.

In addition to robbery charges, Willings was sought for failure to appear on charges of theft, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and two larceny theft charges.

Police have not released details of Friday’s robbery at the Biddeford Savings Bank on Alfred Street.
