GARDINER (AP) – A former Gardiner city official is accused of stealing $195,000 from the city over a span of six years.
A Kennebec County grand jury on Thursday indicted Patricia Coty on one count of theft by deception and one count of forgery.
Coty is accused of taking the money between 2002 and this year while she was the city’s finance administrator.
