MECHANIC FALLS – Dave Griffiths, a freelance writer, editor and educator who lives in Mechanic Falls, recently conducted a three-day writing and presentation skills seminar for seven Navy SEALs at the Naval Special Weapons Development Group.

Working out of that office between overseas assignments, the SEALs wanted to make their writing – e-mails, reports and briefings to policymakers, budget officers, generals, admirals and ambassadors – more effective and to the point.

Since April, Griffiths has also taught two writing courses for Small Business Administration employees at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Va. He has a new Web site: www.davegriffithscommunications.com.
