CareerCenter employment and training orientation is held Mondays from 10 a.m.-noon. This is an explanation of training programs and career exploration and provides a brief introduction to CareerCenter services.

CareerCenter and job search orientation is held Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon. It details services and resources available to newly unemployed people or those looking for a new career.

O*Net ability profiler on July 11 from 9 a.m.-noon is a career exploration tool that helps clients plan work lives using a paper and pencil format with optional apparatus parts and computerized scoring. Results can be used to identify strengths for which more training/education is needed, and to identify occupations that fit their strengths.

Preparing your resume for online applications, July 14, 1-2:30 p.m., and again July 28, 1-2:30 p.m., helps people to format their resume so it can be attached to an online application.

MEOC 101 – Essentials of college planning, July 17, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. offers instructions on filling out financial aid forms. Pre-register for this session by calling 1-800-281-3703.
