FARMINGTON – Glenn Albert Richard, 60, of Farmington, died on Sunday, June 29, at his home in Farmington, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Feb. 5, 1948, in Lewiston, the son of Albert W. and Gloria Elaine (Douglass) Richard. He attended Glen Cove Christian Academy in Rockport.
He was a Vietnam veteran of the Marine Corp., having served from 1965 to 1969.
He worked at the shipyard in New London, Conn., as a pipe fitter, later as a driver for Wells Fargo and then as tractor truck driver for Blue Rock Industries.
He was a former member of the Farmington American Legion. He enjoyed camping in the summer and playing cards, especially cribbage and poker.
He is survived by his parents, Albert and Gloria Richard of Leeds; three daughters, Angela Ross and her husband, Troy, of Cushing, Gloria Richard of Farmington and Peggy Richard of Avon; brothers, Gerry Richard and his wife, Jessica, of Leeds and Ron Richard of Lewiston; grandchildren, Tyler, Sierra, Alexis, Macadez and Cheyenne.
