HANOVER – Members of this town’s Comprehensive Plan Committee want to get input from as many of its 250 residents as possible when they meet on Wednesday, July 16, at the town office.

They are hoping for good weather because the committee is offering a free cookout to all who attend the 6 p.m. event.

Town Clerk Clem Worcester said the committee wants seasonal and full-time residents to talk about what they like, what they’d like changed and what they’d like to remain the same.

The committee has been working with John Maloney of Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments for months to develop a long-range plan for the town. Once completed, voters will decide whether to accept it.

The committee will meet at the town office on Aug. 20 to review comments made at the July 16 cookout and hear a speaker talk about environmental issues.
