LEWISTON – TD Banknorth, through the TD Charitable Foundation, recently donated $3,000 to the Lewiston-Auburn Area Housing Development Corp.

It was among several charitable organizations throughout Maine to receive the funding, which will help strengthen communities through support of various affordable housing, youth development and community initiatives.

As part of the company’s annual United Way campaign, TD Banknorth made a donation of more than $300,000 to United Ways in the state.
