LEWISTON – Susan Crandall, American Heart Association Heart Walk director, will address the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club at noon Thursday, July 31, at the Ramada Inn.
As part of the association’s mission to build lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, Crandall will talk about the programs available to educate individuals and create public awareness. Attendees will also find out how they can prevent cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
Crandall is the new Central/Western Maine Heart Walk director and will work with organizations and individuals to raise funds for heart and stroke research, education and advocacy. The Heart Walk will take place on Sunday, Sept. 28, in Lewiston.
Crandall is new to the Heart Association and new to Maine, having just moved to Brunswick from Connecticut to be closer to family.
