WEST PARIS – The West Paris Historical Society will hold the annual hall yard and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2.

The society held an open house meeting with a potluck supper and a short business meeting recently. Sheets were available for members to sign up for baked goods sale and to volunteer to set up and work the sale.

Members elected officers, who will remain the same: Betty Jones, president; Ted Jones, vice president; Elaine Emery, treasurer and secretary; and Wayne Penley, board of directors.

Entertainment was provided by Milt Inman, who showed pictures of a trip to Alaska and local people, past and present, on the new computer and projector.
