An Ecumenical Vacation Bible School Planning Committee has been working since February to create a week of activities for children ages 4 through grade four at the Auburn United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave. “Beach Party: Surfin’ Through the Scriptures” will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 4 to 8. Involved in the event are Auburn United Methodist Church, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, West Auburn United Church of Christ and High Street Congregational United Church of Christ.
