Friday, Aug. 1, the restaurant/cafe She Doesn’t Like Guthries will host an artists’ reception accompanied by live jazz. Local artists Jeanelle Demers, Jake Ference and Cassidy Shannon will display their paintings and photographs for the month of August. An example, above, is Demers’ work titled “Number 14.” The reception will begin at 6 p.m. There is no cover. Guthries is at 115 Middle St., Lewiston.
