CASCO – The Raymond-Casco Historical Society held annual election of officers on July 14 at the newly built museum on Route 302.

The following were elected: Elizabeth Bullen, president; Wayne Holmquist, vice president; Pamela Watkins Grant, secretary; Betty McDermott, treasurer; Adam Grant, historian; Anne Miller, curator; and Laurie Cook, Web master/office manager. A workshop was held Aug. 5 to discuss opening hours for the new museum.

The next meeting, always the second Monday in the month, will take place at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 11 for the society’s annual summer picnic, which is traditionally held on top of Hacker Hill, Quaker Ridge. In the event of rain, it will be held at the museum.
