AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. Tickets will be sold on the “bucket of money” pot, now replacing the raffle table. Bingo will be played after a bag lunch.

When the group met July 23 under the direction of President Virginia Houston, 49 were present. Jean Hathorne was welcomed as a new member, and Elaine Johnson from Florida was welcomed as a guest. A moment of silence was held, led by Chaplain Pat Donohue, in memory of Yvonne Duguay, a member who died July 8.

Those having birthdays in July were acknowledged and the “Happy Birthday” song was sung. Attendance prize winners were Lorielee Fyfe and Sylvia Thibodeau; pot of gold, Joan Webb, Don Fyfe and Evelyn Sawin.

Trip Chairwoman Sawin announced she is taking reservations for a foliage trip Oct. 3 to Balsams Grand Resort, Dixville, N.H., price $65, which covers all costs.
