NORWAY – Robert C. Kahn, M.D., has joined Western Maine Surgery in practice with Drs. Fernando Navarro and Robert Neilson.

Kahn comes to Maine from North Carolina. He has practiced at the Roanoke Chowan Surgery Center since 1987, and been an active member of the Roanoke Chowan Hospital since 1982 where he chaired the surgery department and served as chief of staff of the hospital since 2004. He has also served on the hospital’s board of directors.

Kahn attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania. His internship and residency were at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in the department of surgery. He was also a resident at Harrisburg Polyclinic Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons.
