FARMINGTON – Henrietta arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter as a heartworm positive, thin, smelly dog that appeared older than she really is.
She has received treatment for her heartworms, several baths and lots of food and attention. Now she is ready for a forever home. Staff said she is a sweet lady with a sweet face.
Staff has also announced the shelter won first place as the most original float at the Wilton Blueberry Festival.
New dogs at the shelter include a tan and white pit from Livermore, red-nose pit from Vienna, and brown lab mix from Livermore Falls.
