Art Moves Dance Company, under the direction of Debi Irons, has teamed up with fusion band Moss Mountain Project for a program called “The Lovesick Sessions” to be presented at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at The Maple Room in Lewiston. The modern and jazz dances explore the light and dark as well as the fleeting and permanent sides of relationships. Moss Mountain Project’s originals bring in cutting humor along with rhythmic and spontaneous elements. Tickets are $20 for the two-set program. The Maple Room is at 22 Park St. The dance company and band will also perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at One Longfellow Square on Congress Street in Portland.
