BRIDGTON – Shively Labs, a division of Howell Laboratories Inc., announces changes in its broadcast products team.

Manuel Sone has been appointed RF engineering manager, with overall responsibility for Shively’s design and development team. Sone comes to Shively from Dielectric Communications, where he was senior electrical engineer, overseeing the design, manufacturing and testing of VHF and UHF high power digital broadcast antennas and components. Prior to Dielectric, he started his engineering career with Electronic Research Inc. specializing in FM master antenna systems. He received his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from La Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena, in the Dominican Republic in 1983, and his master of science degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, N.H. in 1990.

Adam Jones, P.E., Shively’s mechanical engineering manager, has been promoted to director of manufacturing. Since joining Shively in 2006, Jones has been responsible for Shively’s mechanical design team. In his new role, he will direct manufacturing operations for both Shively Labs and its parent company, Howell Laboratories Inc.

Shively Labs is North America’s largest supplier of FM broadcast antennas, filters and combiners.
