ARUNDEL – The Arundel Barn Playhouse will present “Always … Patsy Cline,” a true-to-life musical celebrating the life and times of the superstar, Aug. 19-30.

Based on the true story of Cline’s friendship with Louise Seger, a Texas housewife, the story recounts Cline’s career as well as the relationship between the two who meet during Cline’s early show-biz days at a one-night stand in a honky-tonk bar in Texas.

The longstanding friendship came to an abrupt end when Cline died at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963.

Playing Cline is Laura Cook; Kristin Sweeney plays Seger.

Featured in the show are some of Cline’s biggest hits, including “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” “Stupid Cupid,” “Crazy,” “Faded Love,” “I Fall To Pieces,” “Leavin’ On Your Mind,” and “After Midnight.”
