TURNER – Fall is bringing changes for the towns of Greene, Leeds, Livermore, Livermore Falls and Turner. This will be the first semester of the new Upper Androscoggin Collaborative Program between the Adult Education Departments of SAD 36 and SAD 52.

The fall brochure will be out shortly with a wide variety of course offerings. Classes will be in SAD 36 and in SAD 52 towns.

Registration will start Thursday, Aug. 28. Academic choices include “Advanced Placement Test Prep,” “Algebra I,” “Geometry,” “Basic Accounting,” “Creative Writing,” “Biology,” “Chemistry,” “Health,” “History vs. Hollywood,” “Social Studies,” “History,” “Topics in Literature” and “So You Think You Want to be an Entrepreneur.”

Computer and technology classes include “Computers for Seniors,” “Microsoft Excel,” “Word,” “PowerPoint” and “Windows.”

Workshops for kids will include “Drawing,” “Printmaking,” “Paint with Watercolors” and Weaving.”

Community enrichment selections include “Art with Watercolor,” babysitter training, ballroom dancing, “Middle Eastern Belly Dance,” “Meeting Your Guardian Angel,” “Quilt Addiction,” “Quit Smoking with Hypnosis,” “Sign Language Fun Workshop,” “Weight Loss with Hypnosis” and “Yoga for Health and Well Being.”

Craft classes include floral napkin and candle rings, German stars and moss-covered flower pot.
