MEXICO – The Mexico High School Class of 1959 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Dick’s Restaurant.

Library hours

MEXICO – Beginning in September, hours at the Mexico Public Library will be the following: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.

Benefit dance

RUMFORD – A benefit dance will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Rumford American Legion. Portland’s Small Town Defenders will play. Doors will open at 7 p.m.; $5 a person. Advance ticket may be purchased at the Legion. Proceeds will go toward the Legion building fund.
