LEWISTON – Drs. Edward and Candace Walworth of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Nancy C. Walworth of Portland, to James A. McBrady III of Portland, son of Gus and Helen McBrady of Yarmouth.

Miss Walworth is a 1996 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2000 graduate of Williams College with a bachelor’s degree in political science. From 2001-2004 she was a management consultant with A.T. Kearney in Chicago, Ill., and New York, N.Y. In 2007 she received her judicial degree from the University of Maine School of Law. She is an associate with Preti Flaherty Beliveau and Pachios LLP, and is a member of the firm’s environmental practice group.

Mr. McBrady is a 1995 graduate of Greely High School and a 1999 graduate of Cornell University, with a bachelor’s degree in business management. In 2000 he received a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. From 2000-2004 he was an accountant with Deloitte & Touche in Boston, and Sydney, Australia. In 2005 he was an accountant with Westpac Bank in Sydney, Australia. He is currently employed at James A. McBrady Inc. in Scarborough.

An August 2009 wedding is planned.
