Rose sale

LEWISTON – The Franco-American Veterans Post 31 will hold its annual rose sale at Shaw’s in Auburn on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 5 and 6, and in Lewiston on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12 and 13. Members will also have available applications to join the organization as well as applications to have a name added to a stone at Veterans Memorial Park.

Chapter Martel

AUBURN – Chapter Martel, Association Canado-Americaine, will resume meetings Monday, Sept. 8, with a noon meal at Gipper’s, 120 Center St. rear. The meeting will be held at Barker Arms, 143 Mill St., at 1:15 p.m.
