PARIS – Cowpasture Productions will present the first Maine performance of a new play, “Mother Culture,” Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Celebration Barn.

The play inspired by Daniel Quinn’s book “Ishmael,” features the music of Oxford County’s own Stoned Mountain Boyz, choreography by RESISTDANCE and the words of a large telepathic gorilla.

Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors; children under 12 admitted free. Tickets may be ordered by e-mailing info@motherculture.org or at Creative Media in Norway and the Maine Bookhouse in Oxford.

For more information, log on to www.motherculture.org. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m., with the performance starting at 4 o’clock.
