NEW GLOUCESTER – The wedding of Kristy Lee Meisner and Jason Mark Ouellette was held at 4 p.m., June 7, at the gazebo at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. The Rev. Justin Easter, childhood friend of the bridegroom, officiated at the outdoor ceremony.

Mrs. Ouellette is the daughter of Susan K. Meisner of Greene and Gregory Meisner of Auburn. Mr. Ouellette is the son of Mark and Gaye Ouellette of Jay.

The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a strapless white satin trumpet gown with lace-up corset back, with details of pearls and intricate embroidery and a chapel length train. She also wore an elbow-length veil with scattered pearls and rhinestones and carried a bouquet of white and pink roses.

Meggan Meisner was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Jana Ouellette, sister of the bridegroom, Crystal Adkins, friend of the bride, Jennifer Pesare, college friend of the bride, and Corena Richards, cousin of the bridegroom.

Eric Deane, best friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Jared and Joel Ouellette, brothers of the bridegroom, and Brett Poisson, best friend of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Mount Washington Room at Pineland Farms, after which the couple honeymooned in Florida. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Leavitt Area High School in Turner and a 2001 graduate of Colby-Sawyer College in New London, N.H. She is also a 2006 graduate of Wheelock College in Boston, and is currently an associate extension professor with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension in 4-H youth and family development and works in the Androscoggin/Sagadahoc County office in Lisbon Falls.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Jay High School and attended Husson College in Bangor. He is currently working as a carpenter with Seven Fields Inc.
