NORWAY – Betty Ramsay of Norway and William “Bill” Chouinard of Oxford announce their engagement of Aug. 9.

Ramsay is a native of Oxford Hills and resides at 15 Main St. She is employed as site manager for Rustfield Village apartments on Route 26 in Norway, and is a member of the Oxford Advent Christian Church where she serves as a deaconess. She has a son, Toby Ramsay, and three daughters, Judy Anderson, Tammy Varghese and Wendy Cantral.

Chouinard, also a longtime resident of Oxford Hills, resides at 1170 Main St. He is a retired truck driver and veteran of the U.S. Army. He is a member and deacon of the Oxford Advent Christian Church, a trustee of the Advent Christian Campground in Mechanic Falls, and chaplain of the Floyd Harlow VFW Post of Paris. He is the father of three sons, Edward, Charles and Danny Chouinard.

The couple are planning a wedding ceremony and reception at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Oxford Advent Christian Church on Route 26.
