LISBON – The Parent Action Group at Philip W. Sugg Middle School held its first meeting of the school year on Sept. 8.

Principal Richard Green welcomed the group and thanked members for their assistance during the open house at the school on Sept. 3. Group President Kathi Yergin, introduced the new officers: Muriel Michaud, secretary; Monica Millhime, vice president; Andrea Small, treasurer; and Lisa Caron, co-secretary.

Volunteer committees were set up for upcoming events. The first dance of the school year is Friday, Sept. 12. Volunteers are welcome to assist at the concession stand during field hockey games on Monday, Sept. 15, and a football game on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

On Sunday, Sept. 28, PAG will support the Lisbon Police Department DARE football game against retired members of the New England Patriots.

Future PAG meetings are scheduled at 6 p.m. in the PWS Library on Oct. 14, Nov. 10, Dec. 8, Jan. 12, Feb. 9, March 9, April 13, May 11 and June 8.
