Sunday sermon
PARIS – “Universalism’s Good News” will be the topic of Silver Moore-Leamon’s sermon at the First Universalist Church, Pine Street, Paris, on Sunday, Sept. 21. Services will start at 10 a.m. and all are welcome. Music is under the direction of Forest Perkins. Coffee and fellowship will follow the service. Childcare is available.
Visit canceled
NORWAY – The Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute Wellness Van visit to Ketner Pharmacy on Wednesday, Sept. 24, has been canceled.
The van will instead visit Gray Market Place at 35 Portland Road in Gray from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on that day.
During the van’s stop, two institute health counselors will provide blood pressure checks, osteoporosis screenings and cholesterol screenings. There will be a $10 fee for a cholesterol screening.

Club walk set
NORWAY – The Twin Town Nature Club will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at the entrance to Ordway Grove, 32 Pleasant St. After a walk through the grove, members will gather at the home of Judy O’Connor for a picnic lunch and plant swap.
