CAMDEN – The fourth annual Camden International Film Festival will take place Thursday, Sept. 25, to Sunday, Sept. 28,

The festival is a grass-roots community-based event initiated in 2004 to sponsor annual documentary film screenings and interaction with filmmakers.

Over the past three years documentary features from more than 11 countries have been screened at venues in Camden, Rockport and Rockland. The screenings are followed by question-and-answer sessions with directors and industry professionals.

Activities over the weekend also include panels, workshops, photographic exhibits and concerts.

Tickets to individual screenings and events may be purchased prior to showtime by e-mailing tickets@camdenfilmfest.org or at these three venues: Bayview Street Cinema, 10 Bayview St., Camden, 236-8722; Strand Theatre, 345 Main St., Rockland, 594-0070; and Farnsworth Art Museum, 16 Museum St., Rockland, 596-6457.

Costs: individual screenings, $8.50; Spotlight: Maine at the Farnsworth, $10, includes reception; all-screening pass, $100, admits one to all screenings and panels; VIP pass, 150, admits one to all screenings, panels, special events and parties.
