AUBURN – Granite & Marble Countertops held a ribbon-cutting on Sept. 13 to celebrate the opening of its new showroom at 995 Center St., Auburn. The family-owned business, operated by Marcel and Sue Leclerc, has been doing business for almost six years at its location in Greene. Prior to opening the granite business, Mr. Leclerc owned and operated a construction business for more than 34 years. Granite & Marble Countertops offers a wide range of granite, marble, quartz and several other products. Its specialty is kitchen and bathroom countertops, shower walls, fireplace and tub surrounds, custom granite kitchen tables and granite sinks. The company also offers custom cabinets by Central Maine Cabinets, Morrison Hall and Mike St. Hilaire, and McIntosh & Tuttle.
