WISCASSET – The wedding of Heather Ann Donnell and Michael Donald Pelletier was held at 10 a.m., Aug. 9, at the Snow Squall Inn in Wiscasset. Tina Starr, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Pelletier is the daughter of Norma Leonard of Lewiston and Wendell Burgess of Monmouth. Mr. Pelletier is the son of Mike and Sue Pelletier of Sabattus.

The bride, given in marriage by her son, Cohen Donnell, wore a strapless A-line gown with split front and gathered waist, with beaded and lace details. The gown was ivory with champagne accents and she carried a spray of red roses, white Calla lilies and red Gerber daisies.

A cousin of the bride, Amanda Bauer, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Bethany Burgess, cousin of the bride, and Wendie Bourgoin, friend. Deanna Bauer and Amaya Bauer, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.

Cohen Donnell, stepson, was best man. Ushers were Chad, Chris and Ricky Pelletier, brothers of the bridegroom, Joshua Pelletier, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall, after which the couple traveled to Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut. They are residing in Wales.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Wales and is currently a student at the University of Southern Maine, pursuing a degree in elementary teaching. She is employed in special education with students grades kindergarten through grade four at Wales Central School.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Wales and is working in special education with students grades five through eight at Wales Central School.
