PHILLIPS – For those who have been pondering having an entry in the 17th annual Scarecrow Reunion, the deadline is approaching fast. Scarecrows will assemble at their lot on Main Street by Sataurday, Oct. 4.

Judging will be at 10 a.m. Stakes will be in place five days prior so scarecrows can be put up early if the need arises.

Scarecrows need to be weather-proof and able to withstand heavy winds, as visitors will be coming for at least two weeks to view them.

Advance registration is required. Entries must fall in one of four categories: adult, children, family or group. There will be cash prizes for first place in each category and ribbons for all.
