Harvest dinner

RUMFORD – St. Barnabas Episcopal Church will hold a harvest dinner at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27. The menu will include ham, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, turnip, rolls and pies. Cost is $7. Takeout will be available.

Bottle drive

RUMFORD – A bottle drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, to benefit Holy Savior School. For more information, call 364-2528.

Turkey roast

RUMFORD – A barbecue turkey roast will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Blazing Star Lodge, Route 232, sponsored by Rumford Royal Arch Chapter 56.

The menu will include turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, bread, coffee, punch and pies.

Cost is adults, $8; under 12, $4. Take-outs will be available. There is a stair chair on the back stairs. For more information, call Joe Roy at 364-4715.
