Proving that crafts aren’t the only attraction at Oktoberfest, a patron looks over an array of farm produce. The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, at Hope Association.

Oktoberfest coming to Hope Association

RUMFORD – Oktoberfest will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Hope Association, Lincoln Avenue.

There will be crafts, art, herbal products, bird feeders, pull tabs, raffles, baked goods, soaps, baby items and books. A variety of children’s games and activities will entertain the little ones with prizes for everyone.

Oktoberfest will start with a pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Rumford Area Rotary’s Interact Club will serve pancakes and continue on through lunch. Rotarian Paul Jones will offer apple crisp.

Proceeds from table rentals and the Rotary kitchen and booth will benefit Hope Association and the local charities of Rotary.
