AUBURN – C. Andi Locke Mears recently became the first board certified colon hydrotherapist in the state. This summer, she passed a rigorous exam given by the National Board for Colon Hydrotherapy, the only nationally recognized certifying body for colon hydrotherapists in the United States. Passing the test indicates that she has done extensive studying and has excelled in the field.

Mears runs CALM HealthWorks, a holistic health office located at 1441 Hotel Road. She is a certified holistic health practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College in Standish and a master’s degree in peace and humane studies from the University of Maine. She has worked for the Auburn School Department for the past nine years.

She is married and lives in Auburn.
