WINTHROP – Don (Kerm) and Jan Schrock of Winthrop, formerly of Jay and North Tonawanda, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 18.
They were married in Punxsutawney, Pa., in 1958. In 1976 they were transferred from I.P. in North Tonawanda to Jay, where they made their home for 21 years on Greenridge Way. In 1998, they purchased their lakefront home on Maranacook Lake in Winthrop, where they currently reside.
Mr. Schrock retired from I.P after 39 years of service. Mrs. Schrock was a stay-at-home mom. They have two children, Don Jr. and Teri.
Their family hosted an open house on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Kents Hill School Ski Lodge on Route 41 in Kents Hill.
