TURNER – The wedding of Angela Lee Paradie and Shawn Daniel Butler was held at 4:30 p.m., June 28, at Turner Village Church. Sherri Poland, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Butler is the daughter of Roger and Norine Paradie of Turner. Mr. Butler is the son of Daniel Butler and Carol Belanger.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin A-line gown with beaded embroidery on bodice and skirt, side draping overlay and a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of various orange and white roses with daisies and the stems wrapped in white satin.

A sister of the bride, Jennifer Robitaille, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Steele, friend of the bride, Lindsay St. Pierre, friend of the couple, and Stefanie Belanger, sister of the bridegroom.

Paul St. Pierre, friend of the couple, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Travis Libby, Ben Lachance and Stephan Pike, friends of the bridegroom. Junior groomsman was Brennen Pike, nephew of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Carriage House Plus in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to the Bahamas. They are residing in Turner.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed at Central Maine Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed at Maine Fire Protection.
