Between Friday 09/26 – Friday 10/03 at 07:00 this department

has responded to 694 calls for service. Of those calls, 178 of

them were Motor Vehicle Stops.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked outside of 18 Blake St. had a tire slashed between 23:30 on 09/30 –

15:00 on 10/01.

A screen window at 18 Bradley St. was damaged sometime between 16:00 – 22:00 on

09/28.

Sometime between 09/24 – 09/30 a vehicle parked at 14 Stone Ledge Dr. had its cloth

top slashed.

Several screens were cut at the McMahon School at 151 North Temple St. overnight

10/01 – 10/02. Items were disturbed inside but nothing appears to have been taken.

The rear walls of the Promenade Mall at 855 Lisbon St. have been recently tagged with

graffiti.

A vehicle parked at Jim’s Carpets at 1445 Lisbon St. had a window smashed out of it

prior to 14:00 on 09/27.

Thefts

A blue 26″ Mongoose mountain bike was stolen from 56 Blake St. on 09/30 at 19:30.

The suspect was a small and thin male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with his

face obscured.

A black and silver Cannondale 400 bike was stolen from the Moulton House at 19 Frye

St. overnight 09/27 – 09/28.

A black Redline BMX bicycle was stolen from the Lewiston Middle School at 75 Central

Ave. between 16:30 – 18:30 on 10/02.

An employee of the Career Center at 5 Mollison Way had her wallet stolen from her

desk between 11:00 – 13:00 on 10/02.

A pink and purple 26″ Roadmaster girls bicycle with a black rack and mesh basket was

stolen from 4 Genest St. around 14:00 hrs on 10/01.

A black and grey 7 speed Schwinn mountain bike was stolen from outside of the

Lewiston Public Library at 200 Lisbon St. between 17:00 – 17:30.

A small carry bag containing prescription meds and two cell phones was taken from

the Acme Club around 01:00 on 09/26

Burglary

An apartment at 20 Horton St. was burglarized on 09/28 at 18:00 hrs. Two juveniles

from the same street have been charged, a substantial amount of property has been

recovered.

Motor Vehicle Burglaries

A vehicle parked at the Municipal Garage at 1 Oak St. was burglarized sometime

between 07:00 – 10:00 hrs, an Apple Ipod was taken from inside.

A vehicle parked outside of 70 Blake St. appears to have had an attempt made to

hotwire it sometime overnight 09/29 – 09/30.

A vehicle parked at 35 Wood St. was burglarized between 09:30 – 18:30 on 09/27, a

TomTom GPS was taken from inside.

Operating After Suspension Arrest

Matthew Haines (25) was arrested for Operating After Suspension,

Violating Conditions of Release and a Warrant on 09/30 at 16:52 at

Stetson Rd. / Heather Dr. following a routine traffic stop.
