DETROIT (AP) – A 30-year-old central Maine man is in jail on $250,000 cash bail on manslaughter and aggravated operating under the influence charges following a fatal single-vehicle crash.

Authorities say Charles Erickson of Detroit was carrying two passengers when his pickup truck skidded off Route 220 in Detroit and rolled over at about 2 a.m. Sunday. One of the passengers, 40-year-old Scott Goulette of Detroit, was killed.

Erickson and the other passenger suffered minor injuries.

Erickson is being held in the Waldo County Jail.
