DIXFIELD – Neighborly Senior Citizens met on Sept. 17 at the Dixfield Legion with 45 present. The meeting was called to order by President Connie Tutlis, who read several selections. Discussion was held on trips and suggestions for meetings. It was voted to raise dues to $10 a person beginning in 2009.

Observing a September birthday was Lester Prue. Drawings were won by Jean Nasatowicz and Carol Gallant.

The group will meet Wednesday, Oct. 15, for the 39th anniversary of the club. A Thanksgiving meal will be served at a cost of $4 a person. Entertainment will by Sammie Angel.

A meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, with a potluck dinner. Members are asked to bring items for a food sale.

The next trip will be on Monday, Dec. 8, to Indian Head Resort, Lincoln, N.H. The show, “Christmas in the White Mountains,” will feature the Russ Peterson Christmas Show. The cost is $53 a person. Pick-up locations will be Dixfield, Mexico and Bethel. Call Connie for more information.
