LEWISTON – In honor of National Boss Day (Oct. 16), Mystery for Hire will perform its murder-mystery dinner theater show “Who Killed the Boss?” Saturday, Oct. 18, at Marco’s Restaurant.
“This show makes lighthearted fun of anyone who has ever been a boss,” said Dan Marois, who with his wife, Denise, owns and operates Mystery for Hire.
The setting for the show is the employee banquet of Margate Manufacturing, the world’s No. 1 supplier of widgets. The company’s wild group of employees includes Larry Love, marketing whiz; Lena Love from the steno pool; Carlotta Battista, the wise-cracking assembly line worker; Harriet Krump, company bookkeeper; and Gus Lumpkin, proud security guard.
“Who Killed the Boss?” will begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15. Cost is $36.95 per person, which includes the show and three entrée choices from a buffet, with tax and gratuity included. For reservations, call 783-0336. The restaurant is on Mollison Way.
