LEWISTON – The wedding of Sarah Hamilton and Kyle Herr was held at 5 p.m. on Aug. 8 at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston. The Rev. David Dodge, pastor of Our Savior Lutheran church in Union City, Mich., officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Herr is the daughter of Ray and Claire Hamilton of Livermore. Mr. Herr is the son of Craig and Linda Herr of Union City, Mich.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin halter gown with beaded lace bodice and Cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers and blue carnations.

Renee Letendre-Grant was matron of honor for her friend. Bridesmaids were Maygan Libby, Danielle Gray and Kristi Mormon, friends, and Tiffany Thibeault, sister-in-law.

Serving as best man for the bridegroom was his friend, Matt Barrett. Ushers were Jonah Herr, brother of the bridegroom, Alex Hiday, friend, and Nathan and Zack Hamilton, brothers of the bride.

A reception followed at the American Legion Hall in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Disney World in Florida.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and attended Lake Superior State University in Michigan. She is convention coordinator for Quality Inn and Suites in Michigan.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Union City High School and plans to graduate in 2009 from Lake Superior State University in Michigan with a degree in computer networking. He is a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, having served one deployment in Iraq in 2005.
