The Rebels senior forward helped keep Telstar on pace to be one of the top seeded teams in Western C. He had seven goals in a pair of dominating wins. He popped five against Dirigo in an 8-1 win last Tuesday. He added two more in a 5-0 victory over Monmouth Thursday.

Girls’ Soccer Player of the week

Ashley Beaulieu, Lisbon

Lisbon’s junior forward is a sparkplug for the Greyhounds. She makes things happen on the frontline and helped Lisbon secure three wins against tough MVC squads. She netted a pair of goals in a 5-0 win over Monmouth last Monday. Against Winthrop, one of the top Western C teams, she had a goal and two assists in a 3-0 win. Beaulieu added an assist in a 2-0 victory over Jay-Livermore Friday.

Field hockey player of the week

Whitney Mills, Telstar

Mills continued her torrid scoring pace with 10 goals in three games, plus an assist in a fourth, as the Rebels went 4-0 in the MVC this week with wins over Mountain Valley, Boothbay, Dirigo and Jay.
